Account management basics

Reset your password

If you forgot your password, request a reset. You can also change your password in your profile security settings. Admins cannot set or change another user's password. When an admin adds a user, the user receives an email with a link to create an account with their own email and password.

Reset a password

  1. Go to accounts.autodesk.com, enter your email address, and click Next. You can get help or contact support through the Autodesk Assistant. Just click the icon in the bottom right corner of your Autodesk account page or any page on the Autodesk website.
  2. Click the FORGOT? link above the Password field. You'll receive an email with instructions on resetting your password. If you don't receive the password reset email, check your spam or junk mail folders for an email from noreply@mail.accounts.autodesk.com and add autodesk.com as a trusted email domain.

Change your password

  1. Sign in to your account at profile.autodesk.com/security.
  2. Click the edit icon in the Password field.
  3. Enter the current and new password, and then click Save.

Note: If you do not see an option to edit your password, your settings are managed by your organization, and you have limited self-service. Contact your organization’s IT or license administrator with any requests.
